Christmas is almost here and so many people have told me how
hard it is to decorate your home for the holidays without spending a fortune. Well
there are some great ways to decorate your home for less.
There are some really great options out there on some DIY
Christmas crafts and décor. One of them being Christmas themed wine glasses, all
you need are dollar store glasses and sharpie markers! This is a fast and easy
way to make some Christmas decorations that won’t bust the bank. These can be used for wine, ribbon, candy or
candles. Because they are so versatile use them as centerpieces, accents or
gifts! They are also great for re use… stick them in the dishwasher and redraw
for another holiday or event. Another great affordable decoration for the holiday season
is just plain ribbon! Add some glittery ribbon to your tree or dining room
table and you can completely change the feeling of a room. I have also seen it
on doors. Using the ribbon you can wrap up your front door like a giant
present! It’s beautiful and affordable. One more way to add some holiday décor to your home as
Christmas approaches is to display all those Christmas cards you get! They are
colorful and free! On the fridge or in a card display it’s a great way to add
some decoration and remind you of all your loved ones through the season. Another way to have them up requires some
ribbon and clothes pins. Hang them up your stair case, across your windows or
along your doors. These are so many wonderful ways you can decorate for less
this season. Just don’t be afraid to think out of the box!

A home is not a home because of its room dimensions or the color of the walls. It is about how you feel when you walk through the front door, and the way you can instantly envision your life unfolding there.
