Many of you are going to be starting on the home buying journey this year and I have already gotten many questions on what some of the best tips are out there for first time home buyers. So in response to these awesome questions I will go through some great tips for all you first timers out there!
Pro buyer tip number four: OK you have all your beginning steps done and you are ready to start looking at some homes. Something that pro buyers are going to pay attention to is the weather! It has been very chilly here in Minneapolis and it is very important to dress for the weather and be practical for your showings. I know you love your new boots with the ties and buckles but they will just be a nuisance when you are putting them on and off. Whether you are seeing one home or ten that day make sure you are aware of what you are wearing. Dress in layers and know that you will be both looking at the inside of the home and the outside.
Now the same goes for our hot and humid summers. Those oh so cute sandals with the little tiny buckles are all the rage but can very quickly be your nightmare when scooting from home to home. Easy on and off is the way to go!
Bonus tips: If your going to be looking at many properties in one day pack a snack or two. Remember to bring a water bottle and go potty before you leave. You don't want to be hungry, thirsty or well on the verge of having to change your pants the whole time.
