Much of our Thanksgiving time is spent talking about,
listening to and seeing shopping advertisements for Black Friday. There is so
much controversy over what we should and shouldn’t be doing with our time during
I will admit I have in the past gone shopping to get the
deals on Black Friday. I have had some years that are great and some that I
fear for my life! Getting up at the crack of dawn the day after I eat an un-
holy amount of food to stand in line and sweat to get one thing that is on sale….
I have done it. When I think back to the times that have been fun and exciting
it’s not what I have purchased or the deal I got that makes my time fun, it’s who I am
I am Thankful for my Family and the time I get to spend with
them during this season. Whether that be standing in line at Target or sitting
at a dinner table family is what is important to me and who I want to be with
on Thanksgiving. So go shopping or eat pie and be thankful for what has been
given to you! What are you thankful for this season?
