Here are some tips and tricks to buying a home in the winter!
First, wear the appropriate clothing. You will want to look at the exterior of the home in the winter time so make sure you grab your boots and hat because its going to be chilly.
Second, remember to include potential problems into your budget. An inspector might not be able to look at the roof in January under a foot of snow. Budget some in case there are any concerns when the snow melts.
Third, your inspector will not be able to tun the AC on in December. When you are budgeting for potential issues with the exterior make sure to add a little for AC services.
Finally, don't be afraid to negotiate a little on the home. Buyers can often find themselves in a better buying situation if they are buying in the dead of winter!
So get out there and don't be afraid to get a little snow under your boots and find a great home!
